Sport and Wellness Massage

The sports & wellness massage is a traditional form of massage in which a broad range of massage compressions are applied. This allows you as the therapist to respond to different needs and to offer an effective and customized treatment – ranging from athletic and dynamic to soothing and relaxing. Tensions and blockages in the body are identified and are treated directly. The sports & wellness massage offers a comprehensive foundation of techniques that can be incorporated in other types of massages.

Once you have completed this course, you can immediately begin to offer 30- to 90-minute massage treatments without supervision – as partial or full-body massage. The theory segment of the course will teach you all you need to know about the human anatomy, body systems and the effects of massage, enabling you to work confidently and safely.
